Be the steady hand families can count on.

Kedia Law is a modern, Phoenix‑based family law boutique built on clarity, compassion, and decisive action. We’re a small, fast‑moving team led by a founding attorney with a bold vision and an experienced family law attorney who’s tried the hard cases. If you’re an experienced family law attorney people trust when the timeline is tight and the stakes are high, you’ll thrive here.

This startup provides a ground‑floor opportunity to shape systems, elevate client experiences, and grow with a firm that believes great process is an act of care.

The Role (What You’ll Actually Be Doing)

You will manage a full family law caseload from intake through resolution, including:

  • Divorce (with and without children)

  • Child custody and parenting time

  • Child support

  • Spousal Maintenance

  • Property Division

  • Modifications and Enforcement

A full caseload at Kedia Law typically means 25 - 30 active matters, depending on complexity.

You are expected to be settlement-focused but trial-ready, and highly organized.

Autonomy & Expectations

This is a salaried + bonus position. We care about results, professionalism, and client outcomes — not where you sit or how many hours you stare at a screen.

First 90 days (Ramp-Up Period):

  • In-office availability required Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (with lunch).

  • This is a mutual evaluation period to ensure the workload, systems, and expectations are a good fit for you and us.

  • You will be eligible for bonuses right away.

  • You will receive 401K with 3% match right away.

  • You will begin accruing PTA right away.

After 90 days:

  • You will receive a formal evaluation, and your salary will be reassessed to determine whether an increase in salary is appropriate.

  • Based on your evaluation, you will have the option to work a hybrid work schedule where you will work in office at least two days a week.

You Will Be a Good Fit if:

  • You can handle 25–30 family law matters independently

  • You maintain a minimum of 6 billable hours per day*.

  • You follow through on your commitments.

  • You can be counted on to deliver what you promise.

  • You practice law with professionalism and integrity.

  • You stay grounded and composed even when opposing counsel does not.

  • You hold yourself and others to high standards.

  • You value a collaborative, team-oriented approach to practicing law.

  • You maintain a private, professional home office if working remotely.

  • You care about your clients and approach your cases with diligence, empathy and clear communication.

*We do not count PTO or holidays. As a result, your annual billable requirement will be approximately 1,488 hours, based on an average of 6 billable hours per working day.

Our Culture

Kedia Law is a collaborative, client‑focused practice where kindness and professionalism guide how we work — with clients and with each other. We operate with a startup mindset: adaptable, team‑oriented, and committed to supporting one another. Everyone has defined roles, but we work without ego or hierarchy.

We also maintain a “no‑dumping” approach to teamwork. Attorneys manage their own matters responsibly so that unfinished work doesn’t become someone else’s emergency. It creates a respectful, steady environment where people can do their best work and trust their colleagues to do the same.

Systems & Communication

Transparency matters.

You are expected to:

  • Maintain daily case notes in CLIO and track your tasks in ASANA

  • Log billable and non-billable time in Clio at the end of each day

We maintain clear, organized case files. If you’re unavailable, another attorney should be able to review CLIO and Asana notes, and immediately understand the status of your matters. This ensures clients are supported and allows you to fully disconnect and enjoy your time off. We want to do everything we can to prevent burnouts, including honoring your time away from the office when you take time off.

Experience Required

  • Juris Doctor (JD) and active license to practice law in Arizona.

  • 3-5 years of family law experience

  • Strong litigation experience, including attending hearings and evidentiary hearings.

  • Proficiency in legal drafting, case strategy, and settlement negotiation

  • Proficiency with Clio and Asana

Experience with high-net-worth matters or business valuations is a plus, but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $105,000 to $125,000 DOE

  • Performance-based bonus structure (designed to reward attorneys who exceed expectations)

  • PTO including major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, July 4th, Memorial Day)

  • 401(k) with matching

  • Highly trained administrative support

  • Opportunities for growth and leadership within the firm
